Our Mission

Podily’s mission is to create a broad and accessible global network of podcasts for different interests, needs, moments, languages, and audiences. Our programming may include educational discussions, history, news commentary, culture, entertainment, true crime, mysteries, politics, business, personal development, public-domain works, relaxation audio, ambient sound, fictional programming, and other subjects.

We aim to make audio programming easier to discover and available to listeners around the world. Podily may use technology, automation, artificial intelligence, human creativity, editorial judgment, licensed materials, original recordings, research tools, and production systems to develop and distribute content efficiently.

Our goal is to inform, entertain, inspire, document, explore, and help listeners relax. However, Podily content is not guaranteed to be complete, current, accurate, error-free, suitable for every listener, or appropriate for every purpose.

Production transparency

Artificial Intelligence and Automated Production Disclosure

Podily uses or may use artificial intelligence and automated systems throughout its creative, editorial, technical, production, and publishing processes. Assume Podily content may involve artificial intelligence

• Generating, modifying, enhancing, synthesizing, or processing voices, narration, dialogue, music, sound, ambient audio, photographs, artwork, illustrations, graphics, and podcast covers.
• Creating fictional speakers, hosts, narrators, characters, names, conversations, performances, interviews, reactions, or simulated discussions.
• Scheduling, publishing, categorizing, tagging, distributing, recommending, updating, or republishing content.
• Removing noise, adjusting volume, mastering recordings, creating transcripts, producing captions, and completing other technical production functions.

Human involvement may vary

The amount and type of human involvement can vary significantly between programs, episodes, and other materials. Some content may be conceived, written, recorded, edited, or reviewed primarily by people with limited technological assistance.

Other content may be generated primarily or entirely through automated or generative systems and then reviewed, selected, arranged, edited, or published by a person. Some content may be automatically created and distributed with limited or no advance human review.

References to a Podily “writer,” “editor,” “producer,” “researcher,” “host,” “narrator,” “team,” or similar role do not necessarily mean that every part of the associated content was personally created, spoken, investigated, or individually reviewed by a human being.

Synthetic and generated voices

Podcast narration, dialogue, introductions, conclusions, advertisements, translations, dramatizations, interviews, commentary, or other spoken material may use synthetic, cloned, generated, modified, processed, or computer-produced voices.

A voice may not belong to a natural person even when it sounds realistic, emotional, conversational, spontaneous, or human. Pauses, reactions, laughter, disagreements, questions, vocal imperfections, and conversational speech patterns may also be generated or simulated.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, the use of a generated voice does not indicate that a real person participated in, endorsed, approved, sponsored, or was aware of the recording. Host and narrator names may be fictional names, stage names, production identities, characters, or labels assigned to synthetic voices.

Podily does not intend a fictional or synthetic speaker to impersonate, falsely represent, or imply endorsement by an identifiable real person. Any unintended similarity in voice, appearance, wording, personality, biography, or other characteristics may be coincidental, generated, generic, transformative, satirical, fictional, or the result of commonly available production styles.

Content limitations

Accuracy, Errors, Omissions, and Independent Research

Podily makes no representation or warranty that its content is accurate, complete, current, reliable, properly sourced, unbiased, correctly pronounced, correctly translated, or suitable for any particular use.

Content may contain mistakes, omissions, outdated information, duplicated material, incomplete context, incorrect names, incorrect dates, inaccurate quotations, misattributed statements, unsupported conclusions, transcription errors, translation errors, pronunciation errors, technical artifacts, or artificial-intelligence-generated inaccuracies and hallucinations.

Artificial-intelligence systems may generate statements that sound confident, detailed, specific, polished, or authoritative even when those statements are incomplete, misleading, unverifiable, misunderstood, or incorrect. Human contributors, editors, researchers, and producers may also make mistakes.

Editorial review, automated fact-checking, source comparison, the inclusion of references, professional-sounding production, or publication by Podily does not guarantee that any statement is correct.

Content may become outdated

Information may change after publication. Episodes may remain available as historical recordings even when subsequent events, discoveries, corrections, court decisions, elections, scientific studies, public statements, or newly available evidence have changed the understanding of a subject.

Podily is not obligated to revise, update, annotate, replace, or remove previously published material merely because information has changed. The date on which an episode or page was originally published should be considered when evaluating its reliability.

Corrections do not guarantee completeness

Podily may correct, clarify, edit, update, restrict, replace, or remove content after publication. A correction may be made without a separate public announcement. The correction of one issue does not mean that an episode or page has been comprehensively reviewed or is free from other errors.

Editorial context

Listener discretion

Sensitive, Mature, and Potentially Disturbing Content

Some Podily programs may discuss crime, death, murder, violence, abuse, sexual assault, terrorism, war, disasters, discrimination, addiction, mental health, suicide, self-harm, medical conditions, politics, religion, paranormal claims, conspiracy theories, or other mature and potentially distressing subjects.

Every person is entitled to the legal protections applicable in the relevant jurisdiction, including the presumption of innocence where applicable.

Podily does not encourage listeners to contact, confront, accuse, threaten, harass, identify, dox, investigate, surveil, or target any person discussed in a program.
